Librairie-Boutique Vénus – In 1983, Audette Landry and Irène Durand, professors at Cégep de Rimouski, joined forces to bring to fruition an idea that was very close to their hearts: bringing together under one roof books and objects on the arts, sciences and spirituality.

At 21 rue Saint-Pierre in Rimouski, the two passionate teachers are opening a bookstore-boutique-gallery called “Au salon Vénus,” inspired by the name of the former hair salon that once had a storefront at this address. In this incense-scented space, you can find symbolic objects, stones, crystals, jewelry, music, beeswax candles, and initiation games.
